Matt Sears is an award winning independent filmmaker from the UK

Coming from a background in visual effects, Matt always looks to push the boundaries of reality in his films, ranging from supernatural creatures to apocalyptic visions. This knowledge of visual effects has allowed Matt to tell stories far beyond his budget.

Matt has made a name for himself in the horror genre, with a popular Youtube channel garnering over 60,000 subscribers and over 15 million views. (www.youtube.com/mattsears).

Matt’s films have played at horror festivals across the globe including Frightfest, Screamfest and The Telluride Horror Show amongst others.

Recently Matt’s filmmaking caught the eye of Sony Music, who commissioned him to write and direct a trilogy of music videos for the band Bury Tomorrow (Abandon Us, Boltcutter and Heretic).
